I REALLY loved this book! After the Book 1 world building was done, it really took off for me. The character development is evocative of Gabaldon's mastery, and the settings were all so vivid. I want to move to Colorado now! The best aspect of this story, however, HAS to be the hero, Talon Steel. I love them dark and tormented, and--GAH--Talon has hit my top five list in that regard, up there next to Jamie Fraser and Gideon Cross. VERY well done!
