Such a perfect book! Love the use of mythology and Portuguese myths and History to show to the society we need to wake up and reborn as the magnificent Portuguese nation we are capable of if we want to. And Pessoa writes so well using poetry! It's magic with words.

One of the best books written by Portuguese writers, absolutely incredible. It explains life lessons through Portugal History. I'm Portuguese and I'm very proud to be able to read this in its original language.

I hadn't had the chance to read poetry for a long time ... And Message is beautifully written and translated. I learned more about the history of Portugal. more importantly the themes were all universal. Portugal is still waiting for the hidden one, this time to improve the economy and livelihood of its people but you could replace every Portugal with Turkey in the text and oh how true it would all still be...

The second part of the book will always be my favorite. This is a re-read, I've read it the first time in High School. Being away from home made this read even more meaningful to me.
