Narrative In Favor Of Books Kambing Jantan: Sebuah Catatan Harian Pelajar Bodoh
my bro recommended this to me and said it was hilarious. I found it to be the most boring book I've ever read. But it would serve as an insight to how teenagers (the well-off, spoilt-brats-who-think-they're-cool type) think and live their days. This is one of the books I never intend on finishing reading because I can' stand the language, the typos, the grammatical mistakes and the general theme throughout the book.
Some reviewed it as funny and amusing. Well, all I can say is I enjoyed snickering at some parts of the book (but not the parts tht the author intended to be funny...) and appreciated how good this book portrays the way of life and philosophy of the 'ABG gaul' generation of Jakarta.

I like the author as a person, and I really liked the fact that he's one of the pioneer in "intelligent humour" in Indonesia, but sadly his decision for the kind of humour he presented and wrote wasn't exactly my kind of humour. Do try to read the book though, maybe it'll click. If yes, you can continue reading his other books, if not, maybe they're not for you either.
this is the book that inspired me to have a blog of my own.i love the way this goat wrote his everyday life story. he wrote it in a very funny way. i laugh on every word he wrote. this is a must book to read when you feel sad or gloomy.
Life is a comedy...Raditya Dika tells it straight and clear in this book...funny, entertaining, and yet stupid....
one of the funniest books i've ever read...raditya dhika is very spontaneous and full of humour..the part about his mum freaked out when he was driving her was kinda remind me of my own mum.. she never trusted me to drive her, hehei enjoy reading this again and again as i never could imagine myself posting such a "gokil" story on my blog...noce, dude! ^^
