Pardon me while I have a little rant. If youre going to do a spin-off series, then it should be able to be read independently of the original series. Otherwise, its not really a spin-off series now, is it? Its just all part of the one same series. I give credit to the Night Huntress series and my GR friends who told me about the greatness of this series from the Bones Train in getting me back into the PNR genre again.
