Morning Menace
I found the story to be a bit boring and predictable. Mom was supposed to be a strong woman yet she was hysterical, crying, needing sedating and whiney and they treated her like a china doll. So where do you get a "strong woman" from her actions? The story is about a family horse farm that has several things oddly go wrong and they try to find out who was doing it. I just really didn't enjoy this one very much even though I did read it all.

An avid reader of suspense, I crave the unexpected twists and turns, the climactic shock and plausible connection to the characters. Morning Menace, Armstrongs first in her Menace Trilogy offers

I loved this book, plain and simple. Book one in the Menace Trilogy was wonderfully written, chocked full of suspense, murder, and excellent character interaction and dialog. Hay bales, tack, and horses become missing and there are no leads as to who is behind all this. Rose, John's wife, is exactly what you
