Read it all to my daughter in one night, after skipping over the comments by the author which were about 25 pages long. Very nice artwork. My daughter chose this book from her school library because she liked the illustrations. The Fall Story is a bit scary.

I've never read Brambly Hedge before... I mean, it was my ex best friend's favorite book when we grew up but I never read it.A couple of months ago, this popped up in my feed and I decided it was high time to give it a try. I was probably twenty years late...Don't get me wrong. The pictures are fantastic! They're full of details and the strokes are really, really soft. That's exactly my kind of illustrations. The story were a bit childish, if I may say so. They were nice but extremely simple.

These stories and illustrations are just adorable! I wish I had read them as a child but I will definitely be buying a copy for my future children to read.

I recently found all my old Brambly Hedge books and decided to re-read them. I am happy to report that the stores are just as good and the illustrations are just as gorgeous as I remembered them being. I think these are stories young and old alike can enjoy and the beautiful pictures will definitely be of interest to all ages.

This was my first introduction to the stories and illustrations of Jill Barklem. This lovely volume collects the Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter books, the stories of a mouse community in Brambly Hedge in England. The stories are sweet and the level of detail of the illustrations is extraordinary. This results in a truly beautiful reading experience.

Such sweet little stories that pull you and make you want to be a mouse in their little world! Owen loved these and wants to buy the book so he can read them again and again. ( :The illustrations are delightful too!

Lovely and adorable and charming. I would have read this over and over as a young girl, ogling the detailed, delightful illustrations. Reminds me a bit of another favorite, Father Fox's Pennyrhymes.
