This time it's life or death.Suze has gotten used to ghosts. She's a mediator, after all, and communicating with the dead is all in a day's work. So she certainly never expected to fall in love with one: Jesse, a nineteenth-century hottie. But when she discovers that she has the power to determine who becomes a ghost in the first place, Suze begins to freak. It means she can alter the course of history... and prevent Jesse's murder, keeping him from ever becoming a ghost - and from ever meeting Suze.
Will Jesse choose to live without her, or die to love her?

To see full review click here. What I Remember: I tore into this book on a Mediator binge read back when this book was released. I think it mightve been the first time Ive binge read a series. I rapidly tore through the pages wanting to read what was next. And the result it made me laugh, cry, and just have so many feels.Upon Reread:I am still getting the feels from this book roughly eleven years after the last one was published-God, I dont like thinking that this book is that old.It still holds
Great series! Great ending! I had a few tears even! Once I knew she could time travel I kind of expected this ending and was surprised Suze didn't think of it herself instead of by accident. Glad we got to see everything work out afterwards and the author didn't just cut it off like some do as soon as you could guess what followed. Beautiful way to end the book. I wish there was more!
I really was very curious about how this was going to resolve since I knew I had the right ship, and while it's very easy, I am also very okay with it.Paul is still the worst.P.S. I missed Sleepy.
I read books 1-6 as a teenager and remember falling in love with it. This brings back so much nostalgia that I want to re-read all the series with book 7 since I didn't know there was one. I love Suze and Jesse. This was the first book series of Cabot that made me want to read her other books.
This last book is an astounding grand finale for "The Mediator" series! Very well planned and written! A masterpiece indeed! The ending is perfect! When I read it, I couldn't forget it! I'm so glad at the same time sad, for it's done. Over all, it's a beautiful book! A perfect love story everyone will love! It's a kind of love story, whoever will read it, will never forget it! I want to thank Meg Cabot for writing such a novel! She inspired me!
I cant believe this. One more book left now. Im sorry to see this series go. I save these books to read for Sundays, and it has been what I look forward to most the past several Sundays. Admittedly, I have found Suze quite annoying and weak in this book, especially with how she handles Paul. This is such a shame because she has been so strong and capable and such a badass female protagonist before this Paul stuff. *sigh*However, everything has worked out for the best in a way and I finish this
