Chronicle During Books Original Sin (Personal Demons #2)

Luc Cain was born and raised in Hell, but he isn’t feeling as demonic as usual lately—thanks to Frannie Cavanaugh and the unique power she never realized she had. But you can’t desert Hell without consequences, and suddenly Frannie and Luc find themselves targeted by the same demons who used to be Luc’s allies.

Left with few options, Frannie and Luc accept the protection of Heaven and one of its most powerful angels, Gabe. Unfortunately, Luc isn’t the only one affected by Frannie, and it isn’t long before Gabe realizes that being around her is too…tempting. Rather than risk losing his wings, he leaves Frannie and Luc under the protection of her recently-acquired guardian angel.

Which would be fine, but Gabe is barely out the door before an assortment of demons appears—and they’re not leaving without dragging Luc back to Hell with them. Hell won’t give up and Heaven won’t give in. Frannie’s guardian exercises all the power he has to keep them away, but the demons are willing to hurt anyone close to Frannie in order to get what they want. It will take everything she has and then some to stay out of Hell’s grasp.

And not everyone will get out of it alive.

Assess Epithetical Books Original Sin (Personal Demons #2)
I had to stay up until 2am in the morning to finish reading this. The book manages to make you smile, make you want to cry, make you say WTF and make you want to drop kick several of the characters in the face (repeatedly) over the span of a few pages. Now I need Book 3 now

More reviews at A Reader Under The SeaNOTE: This is a second book in a series. I advice you to check out my review of the first book (click here).   Pure genius!! It's one of the most marvelous sequels in book series' that I have ever read. It brings out all the emotions. There were tears, happiness, and laughter. But overall, it will make you want the third book in a heartbeat.   I actually read this book in one sitting because I NEEDED to know what was going to happen! It was a super quick

A few months ago I read Lisa Desrochers book Personal Demons and I wasnt that impressed. Yes, it was ok, and yes it was entertaining (which I guess is actually the point of a book) but it just didnt have that spark that makes me A. Run out and tell everyone I know to read it, or B. Add it to my Paranormal Bucket List. I read it, I smiled a few times and then I put it down and forgot all about it. No harm. No foul. Thenone day at the end of June I came home from work and found a package from Tor

Bigger, better and oh so much fun! Did you think Personal Demons was dark, sexy and dangerous? Add hell into the mix and you have a burning roller-coaster of emotions! One you so want to hop onto!

Mind. BLOWN. Review to come.

Original Sin is a story that beautifully escapes the snare second books in a series sometimes fall prey to, increasing the emotional intensity and physical action while also answering some of our lingering questions from book one before forcing us to ask new ones. While Personal Demons had a bit of a lighter feel and some rather spectacular romantic waffling on Frannie's part, this second installment shows us some significant character growth while introducing new elements that never let us

I Loved loved LOVED Personal Demon's, so when I saw that Lisa Desrochers will be at BEA I knew I needed to see her. And there she was signing Original Sin. I was thrilled, which is why this one is one of the first books I read from my BEA pile.... In Original Sin Frannie and Luc have to deal their new situation. Luc being mortal, Frannie is tagged for Heaven and tries to use her special gift "sway". But, we also have a new important character here: a new/old *smiles* guardian angel that is here
