Syrian Folktales
I think it's a wonderful idea to gather these folktales from all over the country in one single book !great work from great author we're expecting more high class books and ideas.
Dear Muna, a nice book telling the good time in Syria. It is a geographical, historical, social book and over all a documentary of syrian lives.. May God bring back safety and pleasure to all our beloved country.
Amazing book! I loved the way you included some riddles. It tells a lot about the Syrian culture. It deserves to be a reference about the Syrian life. I enjoyed reading the folktales. Some of them recalled sweet memories from my childhood when my mom and grandma used to tell me bedtime stories :-)
I absolutely loved this book and read it all in one sitting. As a Syrian it was a delightful way to reconnect with my heritage. I never knew there was a Syrian version of Cinderella until I read it - except her name is Fatima and she's from the Ghouta. ;) Overall a fun read. And the recipes are nice too!

Syrian Folktales by Muna Imady is a book I enjoyed from beginning to end. I truly loved all the Folktales , which I shared with my 7 year old daughter, who loved them as much as I did. I may try a few of the recipes of the traditional food in hopes to soothe my homesickness for Syria . What I loved most about this book is I could feel Muna Imady's whole heart and soul went into the compilation of this treasure. This fine collection definitely revives Syrian traditions which may have been lost if

Narrative Toward Books Syrian Folktales
Muna Imady's book has captured both my heart & mind. While reading it, I traveled into the realms of the real and the fantastic, the known and the unknown where everything is possible. One of the stories mentioned in the book "The Three Spinners" was told to me by my great aunt who just recently passed away, but her memory will always be present because of this book. I thank the author for letting me remember & live with the memories of my childhood. This book will fill your heart with happiness and joy because it has the touch, the taste and the smell of "Syria" a wonderful country that everyone should discover.Particularize Epithetical Books Syrian Folktales

Just finished this great book! I'm amazed that I've been born and raised in Damascus but never heard any of these fun stories before! Unlike the stories I heard as a kid these had a whole new taste a taste of home. I enjoyed reading them immensely and really wish there were more and more!! For one who is distanced from her country and feeling sooo homesick it was the perfect remedy. As I finished reading the last page I promised myself to learn these stories by heart and tell them to my babyI think it's a wonderful idea to gather these folktales from all over the country in one single book !great work from great author we're expecting more high class books and ideas.
