Completed something I never thought I would...read the Bible over the course of a year. The study and readings helped me realize that beyond being the word of God, the Bible is also an amazing cultural, historical, and literary work. I followed the YouVersion schedule - totally worth it if youre ready for a larger commitment. Daily readings include a devotional/explanation and require only 20-30 minutes a day.

I read just the text of this 'quick study' bible. I bought this Bible used a few years ago--was thrilled to do so--because of the layout.It isn't always easy to find NASB Bibles that are a) in paragraph format instead of verse, verse, verse; b) in black letter and not red letter; c) in a font size that is easy on the eyes.
