Description In Favor Of Books 4.48 Psychosis
4.48 Psychosis sees the ultimate narrowing of Sarah Kane's focus in her work. The struggle of the self to remain intact has moved in her work from civil war, into the family, into the couple, into the individual, and finally into the theatre of phychosis: the mind itself. This play was written in 1999 shortly before the playwright took her own life at age 28. On the page, the piece looks like a poem. No characters are named, and even their number is unspecified. It could be a journey through one person's mind, or an interview between a doctor and his patient.Rating Containing Books 4.48 Psychosis

I don't know about this one. It was handed to me from a friend after we lost a mutual friend and I have to say I don't know why that person finds anything but a vomit of emotions told frankly and fiercely. Having not only lost three people in a year, coupled with a long history of mental illness, I just found nothing impressive about a depressives suicide note nor do I find it hip or exciting, like some of the reviewers. Look, a text like this may be valuable to someone studying the human brainShe'll die, she'll die, she'll only fucking die.სუნთქვა აღარ შემიძლია
They will love me for that which destroys me.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaTired of crowd searching Telepathy and hopeWatch the stars predict the past and change the world with a silver eclipse(...)All I know is snow and black despair
A fuck-you suicide note intended for the world to see. Not pleasurable, but immensely poignant and strong. Regardless the perfect score, however, the drama is not perfect in the sense that it has no weak-spots, but in that it delivers perfectly what it sets out to. What is more, I reckon it is even more powerful when experienced live. Potentially dangerous and cathartic. And depressing as hell.
After 4.48 I shall not speak againI have reached the end of his dreary and repugnant tale of a sense internedin an alien carcass and lumpen by the malignant spirit of the moral majorityI have been dead for a long timeBack to my rootsI sing without hope on the boundary
